Our community of Christ is made up of many different people from all walks of life. We have a number of toddlers and, therefore, a number of families who worship with us on Sundays, as well as singles, young people and those in their more mature years of life!
As well as gathering together in the church building, we are a people who are on the move in our community – serving, aiding and blessing where possible. The Pastoral Team works closely with the local high school, Park Mains, as well as several of the local primary schools in serving as Chaplains and being a resource to them in whatever way we can from refereeing football tournaments, supporting local events, playing in Staff vs. Pupils Charity games, as well as speaking at assemblies on a regular basis.
We look to serve our community in a number of ways by showing compassionate hospitality to those in need, as well as providing a much needed service for families, which includes our Parent & Toddlers Groups that caters for 150 families, feeding hungry teenagers at Connect on a Friday lunchtime, hosting the largest event in the community with the Fireworks Display each November, or giving away free hot drinks at Christmas time in the town centre.
The diversity of our church allows everyone to be included and play a part in serving the community we live in and love for the sake of the Gospel.
